Our History
On August 17, 1980, the missionary William Pospisil inaugurated a small local church ministry, designating Pastor T. Thomas to lead them. They were a small group; only three families were a part of the church. In the following year, during the month of January, the group was admitted into the Church of God community, naming themselves: East Dallas Church of God.

Years passed, and after several years in their home at Scyene Road, the need for a new sanctuary became evident. Construction began in late 2015, and finished early 2017. The new church was no longer in East Dallas, so a new name was chosen that fit the ideals and desires of the church: Crossview Church of God.

OUR BELIEFS
The Church of God believes the whole Bible to be completely and equally inspired and that it is the written Word of God. The Church of God has adopted the following Declaration of Faith as its standard and official expression of its doctrine.

In the verbal inspiration of the Bible
In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
​
That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.
